I initially bought this LP for this one song, and then discovered the remainder of Truth was damn great too!

Listened to the Truth album so much as a teenager.

When BECK woke up in the AM and look in the mirror, he would see his “Morning Doo”.

I was Obsessed with this record Danosaur! Tried to convince my friends that Jeff Beck was better than Jerry Garcia...haha!

I pity anyone that thought JERRY GARCIA was better than JEFF BECK.

trust me Armando! In northern California where I was living, Jerry Garcia was godlike!

That's what I loved about Jeff's playing, it always sounded like he was talking to you via his guitar Danosaur!

I’ve got a gif/pic of Jeff destroying his guitar while some guy was standing behind the amplifiers trying to get them to function properly. It’s hilarious… the guy is jiggling wires, looking around in befuddlement while looking at Jeff. The guy shrugs his shoulders and then Jeff proceeds to bury his Gibson into the Vox amp grill! IT’S CLASSIC!!!

Regarding The Jeff Beck Group: As Donald “Duck” Dunn once said in The Blues Brothers, “That band had a sound powerful enough to turn goat piss into gasoline!”

THE JEFF BECK GROUP was the “ prototype” for LED ZEPPELIN. JB said this many times. LED ZEP got bigger because they had better songwriters. When they weren’t stealing from Blues artists.

In 1972 when I saw JEFF BECK GROUP at the Swing Auditorium, it was morphing into BECK BOGERT & APPICE. Only TENCH and MIDDLETON were retained from the previous group.

A “Not So Fun Fact”, JEFF BECK’s final concert was November 12, 2022 at The Grand Theatre, Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada.

I think Van Halen, especially Alex Van Halen and Michael Anthony took notice of the rhythm jam in BB&A’s “Livin’ Alone” Many of the Van Halen rhythms sound a lot like that of “Livin’ Alone”.
