Welcome to the Clarifying Hour, I'm your host Clare Jones. For those who are regulars, tuning in every Wednesday from 12-1 PM welcome back. And for those who are new and just happen to turn that radio dial all the way to the left and just tuning I also "hello." This is WCBN fm Ann Arbor 88.3 FM.
Just to reiterate the intention of The Clarifying Hour, each week the show will have a rotating theme. The songs being played on air somehow coincided under a specific umbrella. These themes will be as simple as celebrating a time period like the 70’s and some of these themes will be multi-faceted with layers including the history of the songs, the artist and bands that created them and their place in American and world cultures.
