My DJ journey began at the tender age of 16 when asked to spin records my local church's fall festival. Since then, I worked as a wedding and night club DJ for many years while obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication and Broadcasting from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and was subsequently hired as an Associate Broadcast Specialist for WUWM 89.7 FM Milwaukee Public Radio, where I was on-air host during All Things Considered in the afternoons, recorded and edited news stories for the local NPR affiliate, and produced a music show airing on Sunday afternoons. A brief stint in commercial radio with Smooth Jazz 93.3 WJZI in Milwaukee lead to my leaving radio and working exclusively as a night club DJ in and around Milwaukee for years until retiring from that scene, but retaining a deep love of music, playing in a number of local bands over the years (Happytown, Thin Man, Independent Idols and others) and continuing to DJ until present day as an on-air volunteer with WMSE 91.7 FM Milwaukee.
