I'm dressing as a butterfly, my soon to be born baby as a caterpillar, and my son as an...octopus driving a garbage truck (his choice)

That Springtime track was amazing. David Yow wrote up the album on Joyful Noise's website: https://www.joyfulnoiserecordings.com/products/springtime

I especially like how little it sounds like anything any of them do in their other bands, and yet it all hits just right. Like the kind of late 80s ultra-expressionist rock from folks like Nick Cave, Crime and the City Solution, etc

And Yow's description is so spot on

Having now listened to the whole Amyl and the Sniffers record, I can safely say that it is one of the hardest rocking punk albums I've heard it a while

The Amyl is darn good. I've spun it a few times, too. Defo a grower.
