Interesting about Rotting Hills. I'm at this moment reading Nature's Best Hope (Tallamy). Never realized how important native plants were to the environment

Wooow I never heard this one before. Very nice release by Business Casual as usual!

@ Li Maria Tell me more! One of my goals this year is actually to try and learn more about native plants via foraging

@Andrew, never heard of Business Casual before, but I really dug that too! Felt like a major ear shakeup

This book is not so much about foraging, though that would be good, too. I have learned to forage some "weeds" with real nutritional value. But this book is more about why we should plant native plants in our landscapes to support local ecosystems

Where I work, we installed a rain garden filled with native plants to help with runoff management

Hmmm...I'd like to work on making healthier life choices, especially with food. And to manage my time a little more wisely. (These are ongoing challenges of mine)

Things seem to get a little out of whack for me around the holidays. The New Year is always a good excuse to rein things in again

I definitely feel that, I struggle with both of those too. I made some real strides this last year to learn how to properly store food, how to meal prep, things like that, to help with waste & making healthier choices. Def made some progress but lots more to learn & do

The holidays are always a fertile ground for dysfunction

I grow a lot of veggies in my community garden during spring/summer/fall, so eating healthier is easy during those times. Always fresh veggies around

Have you tried your hand at preserving or freezing some of those fresh veggies for the winter?

I was just thinking that I should look into that. That could be a goal for this year
