On “ISSA VIBE” we play a variety of hip hop, rap, RnB, and jazz featuring both new and established artists, nationally and internationally. Every episode has predetermine themes, or “vibes” like: SMOOTH, MELLOW, BEACHY, TURN UP, and LOWKEY HIGHKEY that characterize that week’s song selection. Conversation topics include new music releases, concerts, and news from the industry within the genres, as well as diversity in American music and it’s influence internationally. I have guests on to discuss these topics as well as to just talk about their personal lives and play fun improv games like Sex with Me.
