The Alt Kids’ playlist consists of alternative music selected by us and any listeners who have requests! During talk breaks, we choose one artist/band from the playlist that day and discuss how they became musicians, their origins and roots, musical inspirations, interesting facts about them, etc. We also seek out local alternative artists to bring into the studio and interview. This year, we are interested in exploring the archives of older generations of rock, reminding listeners of what influenced the alternative and indie genres.
