you know, i have friends in their 30s and 40s who say there is no good music being made anymore. I'm 60, listen to ZBC all the time, and know better.

@ Jamie. Truth. If just being fed, friends are right. But if fishing and foraging, a banquet.

There's no shortage of good new music out there. Especially these days it seems, when it's so easy for an independent band to get their stuff out there without being backed by a label.

My teenage daughter watches tv shows from the 80’s and 90’s. Guess there’s also nothing new on TV that’s any good

BTW, you think Spinitron could figure out a way to NOT show the Spotify link when that link does not work (or is empty). Not that I add that many tunes from here to there. I use it for my German rock mostly.

Hard to outdo “best of” playlists. Everything else is less best. Fun mix !

Is real radio even relative to daughter's generation. I figure with Spotify and such...everyone is their own radio station

@KOTJames.. FWIW - a radio rating period about a month ago measured 40 markets including Boston. Not a single one had a top40 station in the Top 5. In Boston Kiss 108 had fallen to #7. Classic rock, Classic Hits has displaced Top40. As youth listening falls off, only old timers remaining.

Yeah Country & News/Talk do well. Straight ahead Rock formats rising too. Usually in December "All Christmas" formats upend the ratings. But the trend is hard to miss. In the old days most every market had a Top40 in the Top 5.

I opened up for her in the 80's at a special show at the Clair Brothers complex, in Lititz PA. It was fine and all, but I didn't know anything about her back then. Would have been fun to know what I know now.

Always a-peeling show.
