THE BLUE BUS got its name and inspiration from the Jim Morrison lyrics from 'The End' and a desire to recreate the Golden Age of FM Underground radio as I broadcast it decades ago in San Francisco and as those of us living there experienced it on our pioneering Bay Area FM stations KMPX, KPFA, KTIM, KSAN and KSJO - with a little Hawaiian flavor added in from time to time.

Thurs Apr 25th, from 2 to 5pm HST, The Blue Bus route sign reads, 'UNDERRATED!' As Forest cruises out with artists that maybe didn't get as much notoriety as you'd expect in their musical history. We'll rub off a little as we Ride on, Tune in & Cruise out!
