Wednesday MidDay Medley is produced and hosted by Mark Manning. Tim Finn, Music Writer for The Kansas City Star and Ink, wrote that Wednesday MidDay Medley was the “Best Place To Hear Local Music On The Radio: The place to listen to new local music and often hear performers talk about it.” (December 4, 2013) The show plays with themes, special events, and features new and local releases, Interviews, and live in-studio performances. The show plays indie, glam, punk, funk, folk, hip hop, classic country, jazz, lo-fi, electronic, soul, latin, broadway, cuban, african, ambient. Special shows include our ongoing, “A Story in a Song,” “Remembering MLK,” and our four-week December series: “The 100 Best Recordings of the Year.” We also welcome special guest producers and co-hosts, including: Marion Merritt who joins us semi-regularly to share musical discoveries.
