I am a life long resident of Connecticut, growing up in Vernon and now residing in Stafford. I have always had a passion for radio and music. When I was a kid, I would do my own version of American Top 40, taking my siblings 45 records, mixing them up and then playing them in random order while taping it on a cassette recorder. Table top lever hockey was a favorite game in my house and whenever my brothers played I would do the play by play. Right after high school, I attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and attempted to start a career in radio. I spent about 10 years in radio, mostly on a part time basis with stints at WCCC and Radio 104. I got out of the business in the mid 90's but radio remained in my blood. So here I am at WHUS,l earning how much broadcasting has changed and having a blast. A little bit of personal information for you. I been happily married for 25 years and have 3 great kids. Besides being a BIG Huskies fan, I root for the Mets, Rams and Lakers (I haven't been able to get behind another hockey team since the Whalers left). We love to camp and obviously get out and see live music.
