Classical

Sun 9.00AM–12.00PM

Off the Beaten Track with Dan Grieder is a show that features early music, especially music by unknown (now) composers or by anonymous ones. He also plays the works of better known composers, but only their least-known works. Most classical radio relies on the standard repertoire of nineteenth-century works, including large-scale operas and symphonies. Dan doesn't play those pieces, which are well-served elsewhere. His show emphasizes smaller ensembles and use of original instruments.
