Zongwe Binesikwe (Sounding Thunderbird Woman) aka Crystal "Zee" Hardy is an Anishnawbe-kwe (Ojibwe woman) in the Bear Clan from Biinjitiwabik Zaaging Anishnabek (Rocky Bay First Nation) in Northern Ontario, Canada. Her Spirit name is Zongwe Binesikwe (Sounding Thunderbird Woman). Zee shares her story and experience with world through advocacy and leadership. Her life's work is to create safe spaces for Indigenous people in health care through cultural humility, social justice, health equity, and advocacy. Inspired by the impact of Gord Downie's album, Secret Path, Zongwe Binesikwe created Zee's Place to promote decolonization and reconciliation across Turtle Island and the World through music and story telling.
