Hello music and radio fans! I’m a retired broadcaster with more than 40 years working in radio and television in Iowa, Colorado, Wyoming, and Texas.

My first radio job was as a DJ on the campus station at Iowa State University. It was a current carrier station. The only way you could pick it up was by having a radio plugged into a power outlet in a campus building or dorm, or have your radio near an outlet.

I went on to work 16 years in radio and more than 25 years in television, including a stint as news director and anchor at KREX-TV in Grand Junction in the early 90s
