D & Z took over The Better Way Gospel Hour after Min. Matthew Brown, who had run the show for more than 30 years, got ill and was unable to do the show regularly. Keeping his same format of gospel music and music with a message, D & Z & Little J maintain his tradition.

D & Z (before Little J hit the scene) previously had an oldies rockabilly/ska show called Reelin' & Rockin' with D & Z, featuring music intended to get the listener swing dancing.

Demis had a radio show in high school, at WIQH ("Why I Quit Highschool") 88.3 FM, Concord, MA, at Concord-Carlisle High School in Concord Massachusetts (of Walden Pond fame). Later he had a radio show on WUML 91.9 FM, Lowell MA, the radio station at UMass Lowell. Both of these centered around intense jazz and and drummer-centric bands.
