Recorded in 1965 by Eddie House, one of the first generation of legendary MS Delta bluesmen; born in MS in 1902, he stopped recording in the early 1940s and was rediscovered in Rochester, NY, and resumed his career until his death in Detroit in 1988; he was a contemporary of Charley Patton, Willie Brown, and Robert Johnson, and was a very good slide guitarist and a mesmerizing singer
