Wane Lietoc dives into the sonic world of ethereal shoegaze via its influences, contexts, labels, and anything in between.

After a 2 week hiatus (for good reason!) Wane Lietoc returns with Kels the KJUCer for three hours of fine post-punk and off-kilter ditties across from across the online sphere!

Wane Lietoc returns with three hours that keep flipping up every 15 or so minutes. All your favorite, post punk/shoegaze/amibent/labelparty-a real variety show, ya' know?!

Last Wednesday, David Berman passed. If you've had a chance to listen to Purple Mountains or followed his life while working under the "Silver Jews" moniker, you know how tragic and awful this news was. The first hour is a collection of songs regarding death and the grieving process, as well as some discussion about Berman and his influence in lyricism and Jewish identithy, among others.

The second and third hours are somehat lighter-usual punk n' shoegaze n' slowcore mainstrays with some experimental compositons. Mayhaps you'll find an interesting thread to latch onto in these songs.

This week, to celebrate having half of summer done, Wane Lietoc plays the musioc of AnCo-in its various capacities. As one of the defining bands of the 2000s, Animal Collective has moved at their own idiosyncratic pace, never considering any trends or nonsense. Their unique sounds, as well as label and many projects, are some of the wildest pop and folk you'll hear this side opf the millenium. So stick around!

The return of DIIV is a welcome sight, enough for Wane to get nostalgic...some trip hop goodies and Lietoc late 2018/early 2019 favorites are among tonight's playlist. Plus...a surprising new favorite of 23019 emerges with Emily A. Sprague's wonderful Ambient and Solo folk albums. Wane's got some takes as he burns away from the bloghouse...

After successively enjoying a cold one at the local watering hole, Wane has convinced Paige Labradford to return with some kinda Zack in hand. The team shall trade ditties while staying up to date on the latest Chris Cohen news. First hour solely dedicated to his work across indie town. Catch the ride baybee!
