| Ethan Leinwand Cuttin' (And Pastin') The Blues L The Low-Down Piano Ethan Leinwand 2015 [Instrumental bed] The Rolling Stones tour was postponed last year due to Mr. Virus, and it is now rescheduled, with St. Louis being their first gig of 13, date of Sept 26, the last gig in Austin on Nov 20. The Stones began with the intent of being a blues band, but also loved that Chuck Berry rock and roll sound. They smashed both those ideas together, and out came hard rock. They have been among the greatest friends the blues has ever had. So, in honor of the world's greatest rock band, here is a blues by the Stones, and a live Chuck Berry cover too.

| Chuck Berry Wee Wee Hours (feat. Eric Clapton) L Hail! Hail! Rock 'N' Roll (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) MCA Records 1987 Eric Clapton gives plenty of space for Johnnie Johnson to show his piano talent on this track. Keith Richards was band director for Chuck Berry's 60th birthdate event at the Fox Theater. That's where he and Eric Clapton got acquainted with Johnnie Johnson, whose music career was in steep decline. Keith and Johnnie became lifelong friends as a result. Keith went to the Rock Hall of Fame and kept insisting they find a way to induct Johnnie Johnson, so, the "Sideman" category was eventually invented. Keith personally did the induction.
