They tear into this song originally released on Exile on Main St. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Ronnie Wood, and Charlie Watts were joined by Ian Stewart (piano), Billy Preston (keyboards), and Ollie Brown (percussion) for these shows.

This marks her third consecutive release to be recorded in Nashville with producer/guitarist Will Kimbrough and it's a powerful one. This one features the slide guitar skills of Sonny Landreth.

New album from the Portland, OR singer-songwriter which just came out last Friday. Beautiful and haunting. This one goes out to Renate in Stuttgart, Germany who made me aware of this artist.

This is her first album in twelve years and comes after the suicide of her partner Kennan Gudjonsson. Produced by Nina Nastasia and Steve Albini. Nina Nastasia: "Terrible things happen. These were some terrible things. So, what to do – learn something valuable, connect with people, move the fuck out of that apartment, remember the humor, find the humor, tell the truth, and make a record. I made a record."

From his forthcoming album being released on October 21st. Robyn Hitchcock plays rhythm guitar and sings lead and Brendan Benson plays everything else and sings backing vocals. Off kilter pop impossible not to like.

This terrific version of a Zombies song written by Rod Argent starts off the album in grand style. Joining Sara Watkins and Sean Watkins on vocals are Lucius (Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig) and Benmont Tench adds Casio and a piano solo.

I was torn between playing this Jackson Browne song or the preceding Zombies song and then it suddenly occurred to me, hey, why not play them both? Sara Watkins sings lead on this and backing vocals are provided by Jackson Browne and Sean Watkins. And Greg Leisz plays Weissenborn slide guitar on this, to great effect.

The Brooklyn-based duo is made up of identical twins, Adam and David Moss and this is a really fine version of the Jackson Browne song.

The Mary Wallopers are based out of Dundalk, Ireland. This is a traditional Irish song with some select added new lyrics. Radie Peat of Lankum adds some additional vocals to this, as well. I would love to see this band live.
