Closing track to a 2021 8-song EP by the St. Louis singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Mike Martin is now playing out with a band as Mike Martin & Sticky Keys. They will be at the Shaw Art Fair this Sunday (10/9) from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.

Written by Loretta Lynn who just passed away at age 90. You'll hear Loretta Lynn in the 9 o'clock hour. We're limited by the FCC as to how much of one artist we can play. This was recorded live in 2004 and features musical backing by the Sadies and Jon Rauhouse (pedal steel).

Written by Joe Deaton and recorded by Ernest Tubb and Loretta Lynn in 1965.

Eilen Jewell put out this loving tribute to Loretta Lynn in 2010 and it's made up of twelve songs written by Loretta Lynn. She really does justice to the material and Jerry Miller contributes his usual stellar guitar work. Loretta Lynn recorded her version in 1971.

RIP Loretta Lynn who leaves behind a musical legacy which took place over sixty years and yielded 51 top 10 country hits. This album was made late in her career and Jack White produced the album. She wrote or co-wrote all thirteen songs. This song about the loss of her husband has always affected me. Probably not the most obvious song to play but it was recorded in such a way that it feels like she's right in front of you and just her voice and acoustic guitar makes it all that much more poignant. I love it as much as any Loretta Lynn song.

Alright, this is one you would expect. Written by Loretta Lynn and Sue Wells and recorded in 1966. This one went to #1 on the Billboard country chart.

Another one you might expect but, c'mon, when does this ever not sound great? Written by Loretta Lynn and recorded in 1965. This went to #2 on the Billboard country charts. Produced by Owen Bradley.

Tom Jones was flat out amazing at the Stifel last Thursday. This Bob Dylan song was one of the highlights in a concert full of highlights.
