Bill the Metal Evangelist has been a volunteer with KFAI since 2016 and hosts Roar of the Underground which airs live Thursday nights from 10pm to midnight. Roar's main focus is to provide Twin Cities metal bands, artists and promoters a platform to have their music, art & concerts discovered by new fans. There have been hundreds of guests in the studio at KFAI since the show went live in August of 2017. Roar of the Underground started as a web exclusive program and has steadily grown to a late night, on-air show with multiple hosts and a strong following. The Metal Evangelist loves playing song requests from his loyal congregation of listeners as well as introducing new music and revisiting old classics.
