Thanks for a shout out. I originally was a fan of Beyond Yacht Rock which led me to Cruise Control which led me to KFAI AM Drive/Dollar Bin/other quality shows.

I’d have to say the biggest revelations from BYR were Ned Doheny, Pages and that Rick Springfield had a yacht rock song (Don’t Talk to Stangers)

Got my first record player at age 6, a GE Wildcat from the 60's...It wasn't much, but it was that and a box of 45's from the neighbor's trash that were my first toys! The cassette player came at age 13...
