Jackson Buck holds court every Thursday afternoon (4:00-6:00pm) on KFAI with his roots-rock show Freewheelin'. Tune in as Freewheelin’ delivers a free-flowing roots musical journey through the years of recorded history featuring the sounds of Americana, rockabilly, blues, alt-country, rock & roll, swing, folk, Cajun & zydeco, old-time, and a whole bunch of other crapola for your listening enjoyment.
No matter how it's labeled, this great music all falls under the roots umbrella. Jackson not only plays historical tracks from days gone by, but weaves the past into the present by including modern interpreters of the roots genre. Each show features new releases as well as a journey thru the years.
