Local writer Lydia Howell explores local culture, art, and activism with interviews and special features. She won the PREMACK AWARD FOR PUBLIC INTEREST JOURNALISM for her investigative reporting on homelessness in (the now defunct) PULSE Newspaper.

Lydia is a long time denizen of KFAI who also writes for various communicty newspapers and online publications.

Interview: Paul Metsa, from Virginia,MN has been making music for over 40 years. He's played ta the P-9 STRIKE against Hormel in 1984 & at Willie Nelson's FARM AID--and countless other grassroots fights for social justice.

Metsa is re-issue his classic 1992 album "Whistling Past The Graveyard"--with bonus cuts of re-mixes, re-makes & new songs. Part of the album's profits will benefit National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) #SaveOurStages---benefiting the workers at clubs & musical nightclubs who are out of work due to Covid-19.
