From a very early age, Ro Lorenzen has had a diverse and fluid arrangement of musical influences and opportunities to root a very distinct set of style. In high school, Ro jumped deep into the creation of EDM, and a world of different sounds became their muse. Through many years of challenges with mental health and struggling to find where they fit in the Minneapolis music scene, Ro continued to push, working with artists that needed production and engineering help in their projects to hone their skills. It was through these connections that Ro made fast friends with the talented likes of Keston, Eli and Drew. Through a personal, yet collaborative approach to songwriting, the evolutionary experience of self-love and exploration was a powerful totem that served to cultivate what would soon evolve into Static Panic. Now full-time and freelance in music, Ro is eager to take on new students and projects to develop new and exciting timeless classics with artists and creatives with vision with Rotoscope Recordings.

Ro also has a song on the album METOOMPLS, a compilation of 17 original songs/artists released October 2, 2020. Minnesota Women/Femmes/Trans/Non-Binary Folk, coming together to raise women's voices and help fund Planned Parenthood.

Emily Utne, art director, photographer, graphic designer, artist

Emily Utne is an art director, photographer, graphic designer and artist. Emily has always had a passion for magazines ever since she was a young girl. She grew up visiting the office of her uncle’s magazine, the Utne Reader, and later interned there. She was the Art Director of the alternative-weekly publication City Pages in Minneapolis for seven years including creating hundreds of the publication's covers. She currently works for the quarterly publication VegNews Magazine based in Los Angeles. She believes shopping second-hand and eating plant-based are integral in helping the planet, animals, and future generations She has over fifteen years of experience working for publications. She studied photography and graphic design at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College as well as the School of Visual Arts in NYC.
