Jacquie Lady J Maddix is a veteran broadcaster in radio and television, a vocalist and percussionist who has appeared around Minnesota with her band: "LadyJ Griot & Her Root Doctors", blending blues history, live music and root wisdom into one expression. Her radio show is a reflection of her deep roots in blues music and her belief that blue is the color of the soul.
