The accordion reminds me of one of my favorite Jane Siberry songs, "Are We Dancing Now (Map III)" It has more tempo changes than this track but ends with a long, killer jam featuring an extended accordion solo. Brilliant!

I've listened to some of Jane's stuff but not that one. I'll give it a listen!

"Bound By the Beauty" is the album. A bit more diverse and folkier than her previous albums but contains some of her best songwriting. Esp. "Everything Reminds Me of My Dog".

Hm. I know you've recommended Jane to me before. What I listened to just didn't grab me but I'll try that album.

FYI. BuckyDaughter™ scored a summer job with Mpls Parks on their summer movie and music in the park team. So, I'm not sure if she'll have time to volunteer at KFAI. But, who knows?
