Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Andrews began playing guitar at age 5, taught by his father, John Andrews of the 60′s Roots Band Mother Earth. Since the age of 8 he has been trading licks with and opening for such masters as Albert King, B.B. King, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, and Jimmie Vaughan, starting at his hometown’s legendary club Antone’s. By his early teens he was wowing audiences and fellow musicians at such premier blues venues as B.B. King’s in Memphis and Los Angeles and Slim’s in San Francisco. He has performed at major festivals such as the San Francisco Blues Festival and Madison Blues Festival with Ray Charles. Andrews has been featured on CBS, Austin City Limits, Guitar Player, Texas Monthly and Vintage Guitar among numerous other publications.

The title of the new record is called "In The Shadows". So "In the Shadows" is the title track, and this is the record that Spectra is releasing. This record is pretty cool for me because I went about it in a totally different way that I haven't done before. I had never done any crowd funding projects that artists are doing so much today. I did a kick starter campaign to fund this new record, and I didn't really know what to expect. It was very successful and they actually exceeded the budget I was working towards. I had so many fans that wanted to be part of it. So it really made it exciting in that way, that everybody else was involved and supporting it. I recorded it here in Austin with a great local producer who has worked with a lot of local artists here.

British Blues Guitarist Mick Clarke presents a new 5 track EP released 1st January 2021 - Relentless Boogie Part One - featuring the single "Little By Little". The current album "Crazy with the Blues" was released Friday 23rd October. 15 tracks of rockin' blues.

Since the early 80s Mick and his band have toured regularly in Europe, Asia and the USA - praised for his fiery "straight from the wood" guitar sound, Mick is the winner of the Artist Aloud Awards "Best International Act".

Mick began his career with KILLING FLOOR part of the British blues boom of the late 1960s. The band backed Texas blues guitar star Freddie King and toured with legends Howlin' Wolf, Otis Spann and Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup. Two albums were released - the first, "Killing Floor" is one of Classic Rock Magazines "20 greatest British blues albums 1967-1970".

Johnathan Martin Pretoria, South Africa

Born in 1977 in South Africa, to a musical family, Johnathan Martin started to picture himself as performing musician from the tender age of 10 tears old. Classical guitar, then piano, and finally getting his first Strat copy at 13 years old. Taking music as a subject at school put the cello in his hands, and learnt to really improv when he joined the full time touring band Jack Hammer in '97.

Brian Ray has quite the track record: musical director for blues giant Etta James for over than a decade, he’s also worked with the likes of Paul McCartney, Keith Richards, Peter Frampton and Santana. Now he’s hooked up with guitar wizz Orianthi for “Bonne & Clyde”, a widescreen epic based on the The Trails End, the poem Bonnie Parker wrote a month before the pair died in a hail of police bullets.

Orianthi Penny Panagaris is an Australian musician, singer and songwriter who rehearsed in 2009 with Michael Jackson in preparation for his ill-fated This Is It concert series, and also performed with Alice Cooper’s touring band. Brian Ray is the founding member with Oliver Leiber of The Bayonets.

Lending his guitar chops to other records, Andrews is featured on guitar throughout the solo albums by Paul Jones ‘Starting All Over Again’ (2009) and ‘Suddenly I Like It’ (2015) which also featured guitar legends Eric Clapton and Joe Bonamassa. Paul Jones is known to many as the singer of the British Invasion band Manfred Mann — the voice on mid-‘60s hits like “Do Wah Diddy,” “Pretty Flamingo,” “Come Tomorrow” and “Sha La La.”

Reviews of the Jones album bring praise for Andrews commenting on his “killer riffs” and “classic electric blues riffs”. One reviewer says, “Andrews is going to awe guitar freaks….his mastery of tone is impressive and he easily slides between hard, roadhouse blues to classic funk…to soul”. An instrumental track from this album, co-written by Andrews, earned him a 2010 Grammy pre-nomination.

Ian Blurton is a Canadian musician and record producer. He was born in Chicago in 1965, and moved to Toronto in the mid 1970s. He has been a part of Toronto's indie music scene since the early 1980s, playing drums in the original line-ups for Cowboy Junkies and A Neon Rome before becoming the lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for Change of Heart. After dissolving the band in late 1997, Blurton subsequently formed Blurtonia.

Blurton has produced countless albums,he has produced albums for The Lowest of the Low, Tricky Woo, Arise and Ruin, Rock Ranger, The Illuminati, Le Nombre, Maximum RNR, Saigon Hookers, Rheostatics, The Weakerthans, The Carnations, Cursed, Drunkula, The Motorleague, Raising the Fawn, Huron and Amy Millan, as well as an EP for Hunter Valentine.
