| Lynyrd Skynyrd (I Got The) Same Old Blues Gimme Back My Bullets Geffen* 1976 MP3 Rock https://lynyrdskynyrd.com/the-band Formed in Jacksonville, FL in 1964 â first as My Backyard, later as The
Noble Five, and finally as Lynyrd Skynyrd â the band played over a
thousand local gigs by the early 1970âs. All that work paid off when the
band got the opportunity to record their first demos at the now iconic
Muscle Shoals in Alabama. After a move to Atlanta, the band began to amass a strong fan following
and record labels took notice. Skynyrd was offered an MCA contract and
the band laid down the tracks for their 1973 debut album (Pronounced
'LÄh-'nĂ©rd 'Skin-'nĂ©rd). America met the sons of the south through their opening spot for The Who
in late 73. âFree Birdâ, a product of the Muscle Shoals sessions,
quickly became a crowd favorite and the band went back into the studio
to record their second album, the aptly named Second Helping. |

| Lynyrd Skynyrd Searching Lynyrd Skynyrd Gimme Back My Bullets Geffen* 1976 MP3 Gimme Back My Bullets is the fourth studio album by the Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, released on February 2, 1976. It reached #20 on the U.S. albums chart. The album was certified Gold on January 20, 1981 by the RIAA. The album was originally titled Ain't No Dowd About It, in tribute to the producer Tom Dowd, whom the band idolized. It remains the only studio album by the pre-crash lineup to have not yet reached platinum or higher in the United States, though it did include minor hits "Gimme Back My Bullets" and "Double Trouble." It is also the only studio album by the pre-crash lineup to contain more than eight tracks. |

And they continue to release new music every few years. They have never stopped touring and recording although there have been several ups and downs and changes over the years. They sadly lost Lonesome Dave Peverett in 2000 and Rod Price in 2005, but Roger Earl kept banging & kicking to keep Foghatâs musical legacy going. |

Dave and I had known each other and played together for over 30 years. Daveâs very close friend, Bryan, joined us on our last tour with Dave, replacing Rod Price. As usual, Dave gave it 110% until he sadly lost his battle with cancer. We miss him. Not a day goes by without thinking about him. But, Dave told us to carry on, and that it was all âabout the musicâ anyway. . So here we are. So, in the immortal words of Lonesome Dave. âWEâRE GONNA ROLL âTIL WEâRE OLD, GONNA ROCK âTIL WE DROPâ! â âKeep on Rockinâ Dave, weâll keep the spirit alive. |

Bobby then returned and CAPTAIN BEYOND set out once again on a new round of touring with the likes of King Crimson, Trapeze, ZZ Top, etc. In the mid-seventies lead singer Rod Evans decided to leave music and was replaced with Willie Daffern on vocals. The band then signed with Warner Bros. and recorded the album âDawn Explosionâ. |

All through high school, I was playing with different bands in those same smokey bars that I still feel right at home in. I guess it was only natural that my cousin Billy Eaves and myself started playing together. It was at that time that I put together the Blackhorse band. If youâve ever put a band together, then you know it was the easy part, the hard part is keeping it together! Through the years many musicians have come and gone, and as I did when I was a kid... every musician Iâve played with Iâve taken a little bit of what they knew... and that I guess thatâs how my âsoundâ was created. As time went on, the band name became Jimmy Lee and Blackhorse. |

In the summer of 1968, Lifeson co-founded the band that would become Rush with former drummer John Rutsey. For Rush, Lifeson plays electric and acoustic guitars as well as other stringed instruments such as mandola, mandolin, and bouzouki. Instrumentally, Lifeson is regarded as a guitarist whose strengths and notability rely primarily on signature riffing, electronic effects and processing, unorthodox chord structures, and a copious arsenal of equipment used over the years that has befitted him the title by his band mates as âThe Musical Scientistâ. |

| Black Sabbath Supernaut Black Sabbath Black Sabbath, Vol. 4 Sanctuary 2013 MP3 Heavy Metal Black Sabbath is credited with creating heavy metal. The success of their first two albums - Black Sabbath and Paranoid - marked a paradigm shift in the world of rock. Not until Black Sabbath upended the music scene did the term âheavy metalâ enter the popular vocabulary to describe the denser, more thunderous offshoot of rock over which they presided. With their riff-based songs, extreme volume, and dark, demonic subject matter, Black Sabbath embodied key aspects of the heavy-metal aesthetic. Yet in their own words, Black Sabbath saw themselves as a âheavy undergroundâ band. That term denoted both the intensity of their music and the network of fans who found them long before critics and the music industry took notice. In a sense, though theyâve sold more than 75 million albums worldwide, they still are a heavy underground band. |

| Black Sabbath Killing Yourself to Live (2009 Remastered Version) Black Sabbath Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (2009 Remastered Version) Sanctuary 2013 MP3 Rock Everything changed when Butler came to the band with an idea for a song inspired by a disturbing apparition. A fan of horror films and the black magic-themed novels of Dennis Wheatley, he flirted briefly with the black arts. But when he saw what he believed to be a figure from the dark side at the foot of his bed one night, he ceased his dabblings in the goth world. With lyrics by Osbourne, the group composed a song about the visitation, entitling it âBlack Sabbathâ (after the 1963 Boris Karloff film). It provoked a reaction in audiences unlike anything else in their repertoire, and they knew theyâd stumbled onto something powerful and unique. Forced to change their name because there was already another band named Earth, they made an obvious choice: Black Sabbath. |

| Bang Our Home Bang Bang New Music-Green Tree Records 1971 MP3 Rock Bang's story began in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with high school friends Frank Ferrara
(vocals/bass) and Frankie Glicken (guitar, vocals). Aged just 16 and
soon-to-be dropouts, the pair linked up with experienced drummer and
lyricist Tony Diorio in the fall of
1969, and set about rehearsing covers and original material inspired by
rising heavy rock groups like Black Sabbath, Grand Funk Railroad, and Led Zeppelin.

spent the entire summer performing all over the eastern seaboard and
then repaired to Miami's Criteria Studios in August to record the
aforementioned Death of a Country album, confident it would land them
the major-label contract they so coveted. They were right about that
first part, at least, since Capitol Records indeed agreed to sign Bang
to a four-album deal, but then refused to release their independent
recording, which, in fairness, revealed a band still honing its heavy
rock chops with a lot of cynical flower child nonsense (Death of a
Country would only see the light of day some 40 years later |

The original line-up included Billy Joel on keyboards and Rick Mangone on drums. | Buffalo Be Alright Mother's Choice Akarma 1976 MP3 Pop Buffalo was an Australian Heavy metal
band formed in August 1971 by founding mainstay Dave Tice on lead
vocals (ex-Head). Fellow founders, also from Head, were Paul Balbi on
drums, John Baxter on guitar, and Peter Wells on bass guitar; together
with Alan Milano on lead vocals (ex-Mandala). Milano left after their
debut album, Dead Forever... (June 1972), and Balbi was replaced on drums by Jimmy Economou. Their next two albums, Volcanic Rock (July 1973) and Only Want You For Your Body (June
1974), were also issued by Vertigo Records. After 1975 line-up changes
resulted in a more commercial sound and the group disbanded in March
1977. |

| Buffalo Bean Stew Buffalo Dead Forever Akarma 1972 MP3 Pop Australian musicologist Ian McFarlane noted that there was "nothing
subtle about Buffalo's primal, heavyweight sound, but it was delivered
with a great deal of conviction ... combining the dense, occult riffing
... with the progressive blues chops ... the band certainly captured the
arrogant disposition of the times in a bold and thunderous fashion".
Alongside Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs and Blackfeather, Buffalo
pioneered Australia's heavy metal, pub rock and alternative
rock movements. Peter Wells died on 27 March 2006, aged 58. |

| April Wine Before the Dawn April Wine Harder...Faster Capitol Records 1979 MP3 Rock It all began in Nova Scotia late in 1969. The Henman brothers, David and
Ritchie, got together with their cousin Jim Henman and fellow musician
Myles Goodwyn to form a band called April Wine, a name chosen simply
because they were two words that sounded good together. By the spring of 1970 April Wine had relocated from Halifax to Montreal
and were making a self-titled album for Aquarius Records. This first
album established Myles Goodwyn as a composer with Fast Train receiving
much airplay throughout Canada and becoming the main reason April Wine
was able to record a second album. In the fall of 1971 Jim Henman left
the band and was replaced by Montreal native Jim Clench. |

| April Wine Cat's Claw April Wine Electric Jewels UNIDISC MUSIC INC. 1979 MP3 Rock Early in 1973 the two remaining members, Myles Goodwyn and Jim Clench,
faced the dilemma of taking the band to the next level. After a few
auditions Jerry Mercer and Gary Moffet joined the band and April Wine
became a tighter, flashier band. The two new members helped to complete
album number three; Electric Jewels. This album remains a fan favorite
with such classic songs as Weeping Widow, Just Like That and Lady Run
Lady Hide. It provides a great example of the writing talents of Goodwyn
and Clench. The following spring the band hit the road with a national
tour called The Electric Adventure. This tour was the first to use
dramatic lighting and pyrotechnic displays as an integral part of their
show, a feature that would prove to be extremely popular during their
international stardom and would lend influence to various emerging
artists, Garth Brooks for one. |
