Joshua T. Merello is a national touring classical guitarist, visual artist, and writer from Kansas City, currently based in Albuquerque, NM.

Joshua's music is purely instrumental, allowing listeners to focus inward, on their own minds, amidst the constant noise of the external world. Utilizing only his classical guitar and loop pedal, he blends neo-classical, Latin, and blues stylings into one experience. His ear for melody gives each song a unique voice.

Prior to COVID, Joshua worked with Alzheimer’s residents, focusing on music therapy.

PIIRAINEN | BLOM | COMPANY was born out of collaboration of two modern day musicians J-P Piirainen, Venla Ilona Blom and folk dancers who were graving deeper connection between folk music and folk dance. They combine acoustic guitar, beat box and dancing creating totally new sound and bringing Finnish folk dances to 2020 era.

Even though using modern sounds and contemporary playing techniques, companys roots are deep in traditional dance music and folk dance of Finland.

There are no separation between musicians and dancers in this company. Only equal artists doing new Finnish folk tradition.

Studebaker John Grimaldi was born in an Italian-American section of Chicago and started playing harmonica at age 7. Under the spell of music he heard on Maxwell Street, Chicago’s famed blues melting pot, Grimaldi began performing as Studebaker John and the Hawks in the ‘70s. The band name referenced the Studebaker Hawk, a car Grimaldi still owns today, and was also intended as a tribute to his friend, J.B. Hutto and the Hawks. John began playing guitar after a life-changing experience of seeing Hound Dog Taylor and the Houserockers perform. “…Hound Dog started playing, hitting notes that sent chills up and down my spine. He was versatile and powerful and would play rhythm as well as leads. I left there knowing what I wanted to do. I had to play slide guitar.”

Johnathan Martin is a musician from Gauteng, South Africa. A songwriter/ performer/guitarist/ cellist/ pianist/ and vocalist.On the road for many years alongside the enigmatic and legendary ‘Piet Botha’, JM’s songs are haunting/evolutionary.

In 1984 he co-founded the Blues Rock group Jack Hammer which was more than just a band, it was a collective of musicians that somehow survived the strange machinery that is the South African music industry and produced some sterling original albums over the years.

During the 1990’s Jack Hammer opened for Deep Purple and Uriah Heep on their “Masters of Rock” tour and were also privileged to be the supporting act for ZZ Top (one of Botha’s prime influences) on their South African tour.

Orkhan Efendi is an indie blues rock musician and songwriter. He has started to record his original songs since 2014 following to begin to perform on the stages in 2018. On an educational side, Orkhan has graduated 7-years music school specialized with piano before starting to learn guitar at the age of 18, followed by constant self-development process.

“Living in the moment and connecting with the audience. If you can’t connect with the audience at a show, what’s the point in having a show? You have to be able to take them to a place to forget about what is happening in their life. I want them to hear great songs and walk away from a great guitar show.”
