KRFC is a volunteer-driven, non-commercial radio station based in Fort Collins, Colorado that serves the community of Northern Colorado with music, news, and public affairs programming, which can be heard at 88.9 FM and online at www.krfcfm.org.

My DJ career began in northern Colorado in 1974 and was my chosen path until mid 1995. I began working elsewhere but volunteered with Public Radio for the Front Range (PRFR), a small group of people dedicated to creating a local community radio station. Our station (you & me & all of us), KRFC 88.9fm, went on the air on March 1, 2003! I got to be the 1st DJ on the air playing music and interviewing the PRFC Board members about their long and dedicated journey. I love radio and listen on old school radios, in my car, on my iPhone, laptop and iPad. I am drawn to the intimacy of radio. On Breakfast Blend (2nd & 4th Sat. 8-10a.m.), and on Monday Music Mix (1st & 3rd Mon. 10-Noon) I blend Colorado music, new music and music from 1950s-through today......new, local and global. I play lots of Genres too. I enjoy sharing music with you and hope you'll also share it with me. Such fun. I am also one of three rotating hosts for the award-winning Community at Work public affairs program, Thursdays 6-6:30p.m. We interview public agencies and organizations about their projects and programs. I am a past KRFC Board member and past KRFC programming committee member.
