i have a lot of ??? to the dragon quest netflix thing...it was like a movie, not a series. the pace was FREAKING FAST, and the lip sync was off a tad, but the ending got WIERD, but the music was from the game I'm actually playing right now so i was happy with it nonetheless

I love the Dragon Quest CG movie, it was based on DQ V i loved the twist ending

in Chrono Trigger Frog's human name was "Glen" which is a modern version of the name Galen, and Gwain.. which was the name of the Green Knight in Arthurian myth.. Green Knight.. Frog.. get it?

i played 5 once...i thought the scenario of 2 brides seemed familiar...

I started playing Thomas Was Alone again this week to get xbox achievements. that and the 360 version of plants vs zombies for same reason. I haven't even used my switch much other than my daily dose of tetris

the original Dragon Quest V in Japan was massively successful and popular, it was the "FF 7" of it's day back when it came out on the Super Famicom, it's fans are now in the late 30s to 40s now so it has a lot of meaning to most old school fans of DQ like me

yeah I should go take inventory of my gb/gbc games again. I know I have the first Mario game on gbc, first harvest moon on gbc, and a few more. I do own Mario and 6 golden coins for gb, links awakening, and oracles of seasons/ages, and pokemon blue. other than that id have to look. I think some of the donkey kong land games, and yeah at least of the dragon warrior ones

sorry no progress on the gba mother games, but its on my to-do list. i got heavy OT right now at work so not much gaming

I played some golden axe. I think the amazon fire tv store had it. I got the amazon gaming controller for the fire tv box and actually a decent amount of free and or very cheap games on there

In Seiken Densetsu 3 {"Trials of Mana"}the game's use of mulitple tranparent sprite layers, parallax scrolling, sprite scaling,etc are all still impressive as f**k IMO this game still holds up visually and it's high quality music is on par with CD audio IMO still impressive to me

the intro is on par with some of the best 2-d visuals in some Sega Saturn games. I'm not sure of the original Cart is using some special chips inside or not

Square does to, a lot is "lost in translation" when they localize an RPG.. so a story about the characters "Destroying God to save human kind from having there souls being enslaved" becomes the simplified "Destroying the Tryant King to save da' world! "
