I've been in a rotten mood all day, but as soon as I got to the studio, it melted away.

So, I'd like to start off with some good news for the night.. the local D.J's are finally broadcasting on air on the local college station again!! They started at 10pm e.s.t. and are going until 2am tonight tearing the airwaves up! I am so happy to have so much metal tonight ^_^

And alsoooo. I GOT THE GOODIES IN THE MAIL! :D your note is gonna be hanged in my bedroom wall, the stickers are going on my artcase, and the pins are already on the tote bag! :) thank you so much, Taylor. It meant a lot to me! I had a huge smile the whollleeee day.

Last year, I hand-delivered a lot of them so I could meet some of the listeners. That was super-fun, but I don't think I'll be able to do it this year.

I just noticed that band Grom on the playlist. The title IS in fact Russian, and it says: "Vo Imya Vsekh Poverzhyennykh Bogov", or roughly translated as "In the Name of All the Defeated Gods".

We've talked for a long time about podcasting shows after they air, but I think there's still some issue with our licensing that doesn't allow us to do that.

My wife and I were cat-sitting for our neighbor who had to go to West Virginia for the last couple of days to get her three kids who were abducted by her ex-husband who fled to there from California. The cat's name is Jaggy (named either after a jaguar or Mick Jagger, that was his name at the shelter, and he responds to it). He's such a sweetheart and a character! We like going over there to visit him.
