You're very welcome, Jeff!
Allegedly Armando of the I.E. 10:03:22 PM
Good Evening BOSS GUY. Tonight I'm feeling an emptiness deep inside because there's no KSPC CD & Record this month. Would it have been today or next Sunday?

Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:05:35 PM
You definitely can, RobertZ, thanks!
Robert Z 10:06:12 PM

Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:06:03 PM

Robert Z 10:06:39 PM

JF 10:06:13 PM

Robert Z 10:07:03 PM

Robert Z 10:07:22 PM

Dave 10:07:26 PM
Dobryy vechyer, Boss Guy!!
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:07:24 PM

Jon Valdez 10:08:29 PM

Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:08:13 PM
At least, you got to experience the joy of record shopping once at our expo, RobertZ!
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:08:20 PM
Hey ther, Jon!
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:08:32 PM
*there*
Dave 10:09:11 PM
A martini!
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:09:08 PM
Oh! Drinking already, eh Dave!?
Dave 10:10:50 PM
A gin Martini, extra-dry, stirred, not shaken! Drier than the Sahara desert...colder than Antarctica!
Robert Z 10:11:14 PM
yah lets hope we get one in Feb...after the unpleasantness ends
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:10:47 PM
nice! Bond, James Bond!!
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:11:45 PM
I wouldn't count on a Feb. show, RobertZ! Doesn't seem likely at this point!
Robert Z 10:12:25 PM
yah i think you're right
Robert Z 10:12:29 PM

Robert Z 10:12:33 PM
but*
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:12:27 PM
Yup! there's always HOPE, RobertZ!
Dave 10:13:29 PM
Actually no, I'm not drinking right now. But, I might have a shot or two of Southern Comfort later during the World show before I go to sleep. It makes me quite drowsy (works better than Nyquil).
Jon Valdez 10:14:24 PM
Hey Boss Guy, would happen to have any Joe Cocker with you tonight? If you have it, I’d like to hear the song Woman to Woman. It’s on his third studio album that’s simply titled Joe Cocker. Thanks
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:13:57 PM
Cool!
Robert Z 10:14:36 PM
well Nyquil has alcohol too...not sure what else though
Robert Z 10:15:01 PM
might have codeine...which is strong stuff i'm not sure if you can get it over the counter anymore
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:14:39 PM
Got it, Jon! up in a bit, thanks!
Jon Valdez 10:15:26 PM

JF 10:15:48 PM
Beautiful start to the show!!!
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:17:04 PM
thanks, Jeff!
Dave 10:17:52 PM
And by the way, James Bond drank what was known as a Vesper, made with vodka and shaken, not stirred (at least in the movies). I heard in the books that he drank extra-dry Martinis with gin (no vodka). But enough of that for now.
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:18:28 PM
That's way over my drinking knowledge, dave!
Frankie 10:19:51 PM
Good Evening, Boss Guy. 👦 P.S. I'm Back From The Road & Back From Texas To Nevada And The Time Is 10:20 P.M. PST
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:20:55 PM
Hey Frankie in Nevada!
Frankie 10:21:26 PM
So Astral Weeks Is Your Favorite Van The Man Album?
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:21:53 PM
It is, frankie!
Dave 10:22:38 PM
I learned that mainly through a bartender's recipe guide once. Quite interesting actually, as it also tells a brief history of cocktails in America.
Frankie 10:23:36 PM
Oh Okay. I'll Remember That.
Dave 10:23:38 PM
I can't take Nyquil anyway...it makes me hyper as hell!
Dave 10:24:45 PM
Astral Weeks is also my favorite Van Morrison album.
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:24:41 PM
Right on, Dave!
Allegedly Armando of the I.E. 10:28:04 PM
KEEF !!!!
Dave 10:29:19 PM
I can understand you not minding being stuck on a desert island, as long as you had the Astral Weeks album with you!
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:28:50 PM
Yeah, your brother dropped this off to me this week, Armando! I'm diggin' it so far!
JF 10:28:59 PM
Wow, different version of JAC, sounds interesting!!!
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:29:49 PM
That's right, Dave! One of my 5 desert island records for sure!
Allegedly Armando of the I.E. 10:30:28 PM
Yeah, he thought your KEEF HARTLEY BAND collection needed some "new blood".
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:30:51 PM
Very different, the piano replacing the lead guitar on this live version, Dave!
Dave 10:31:29 PM
This is a GREAT live version of "Just to Cry"!! LOVE the piano work!
Frankie 10:37:56 PM
That's A Good One By The Zepp's.
Robert Z 10:38:09 PM
thanks for this BGC...some of their best guitar work
Robert Z 10:38:20 PM
sounds like you wore out the grooves on this one, eh?
Allegedly Armando of the I.E. 10:37:53 PM
Nice and scratchy version of that LED ZEP tune.
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:37:54 PM
Oops! i missed it on the liner notes, the pianist is Mike Weaver on that Keef Hartley track, Dave!
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 10:38:32 PM
You're welcome! haha, I certainly did, RobertZ!
Frankie 10:39:03 PM
I Also Like The Rain Song Off Of That Classic Album From 1973.
Robert Z 10:39:28 PM

JF 11:01:49 PM
...if you can open up CC's personal pic in another window, you can see it
Allegedly Armando of the I.E. 11:01:59 PM
BOSS GUY, The documentary is around 3 hours long, but worth every minute spent watching it.
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 11:02:37 PM
Unffortunately I can't, Jeff! Or I'm not clever enough to figure it out..!
Frankie 11:03:11 PM
Good Evening, Christine. I'm Back In Nevada.
JF 11:18:56 PM

Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 11:19:51 PM

Dave 11:23:11 PM

Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 11:23:36 PM

If only The Association had done a version of this. Jimmy Webb wrote it for them.
Allegedly Armando of the I.E. 11:43:52 PM
If you would like to see an interview with the woman that inspired JIMMY WEBB to write this song, use the link below: https://youtu.be/CxnMkDXOsDs

Dave 12:33:34 AM
That sounded like a different version of "How Can I be Sure" by The Rascals. Was it a re-recorded version, alternate single, etc.?
JF 12:34:14 AM
When I heard Donovan, I had to check to see if he was still alive. I didn't know that Brian Jones had a son and that Donovan adopted him...you all probably already knew that...news to me!!!
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 12:34:46 AM
No, it's off the greatest hits record I have, Dave. But the single version may be different.
Boss Guy In Claremont (host) 12:35:58 AM
Yeah, I knew that from my sister! She's sent me photos of Donovan and Brian's son, as they look today!
Dave 12:37:06 AM
Yeah, I'm wondering if that was just the single version as opposed to the album version, since both tracks clearly have different mixes. I don't believe I've ever heard the one you just played before.
BroManKurt 12:36:38 AM
I knew Donovan was Still alive my Hefe’, but I didn’t kno that other part, Wow how cool!
BroManKurt 12:38:02 AM
Great riff traK!
BroManKurt 12:40:03 AM
