That was probably a Coral Electric Sitar employed by the Dan of Steel. There seems to have been some kind of phase problem on that, on my radio the keys and horns were way lower in the mix than they should have been.

Yeah, I noticed it from records back in those days, that it became a sort-of bandwagon that everyone had to jump on. I think Cream's "Toad" with Ginger Baker was the first that I seem to remember.
