Yeah, that song is the best. Kills me that it's from '62. If I could sing, that would be my karaoke go-to song. By the way, it was played during a great scene in Blue Velvet when Dennis Hopper was at his most menacing.

He really did. I love the way sound is so important to his movies. I'm thinking of the loud hissing gas in the Elephant Man, for example. I love his movies and his soundtracks.

The Linda Scott song from Mulholland Drive is such a gem.

I saw Gremlins in the theater when it came out, so I would have been like 6 or whatever. But even then I was like, "dude... Phoebe..."

I was just noticing something today...Santa and Satan...if you only move the "n" in Santa from the middle of the word to the end of the word, and Wallah! You get Satan! They do seem similar...just sayin'!

I like the sudden, jarring endings most of these songs have, that you play on your show.

Sometimes sequels work. Like The Empire Strikes Back or Evil Dead 2

Dana Carvey was brilliant on that show. When he and Mike Meyers and Phil Hartman were in the cast together...? That's probably my favorite SNL era.

Empire Rules, obvious. So does Evil Dead 2.

I enjoy plenty of sequels, but something like Ghostbusters or Gremlins told the whole store it needed to tell in one-shot. Anything beyond that is needless.

I'm cool with the same thing over and over again as long as I'm entertained. That doesn't work well with jokes, though.

Oh, By The Way, What About The Dirty Harry Sequels?

Shoot.. how could I forget? The Hangover 2! I've never seen either of the others, but Hangover 2 is the absolute worst movie I have ever seen, so surely it qualifies as one of the worst sequels also.

I think I rate movies differently that most people. I love awful movies. My gauge is how much fun I have watching it.

With comedy sequels they usually rehash the same jokes because they weren’t prepared to make a sequel but money talks.

I can recognize a movie is bad, but if I enjoy myself while I'm watching it, that's good enough for me.

I've watched that movie a lot of times, Frankie. I kind of love it. Perfect example. I know it's a terrible movie, but it's so terrible it becomes amazing.

It's like, you can't believe what is happening on the screen went through a team of people with a bunch of money to spend, and all them said, "yeah, sure, go ahead and film that."
