Yes, I do have bebop French horns -- gotta remember which album it was! But no, I have never played anything bop with bassoons. It's kind of interesting how certain woodwinds took off in bebop, and others just didn't.

No, I actually don't even know where specifically it was recorded. I know it was somewhere in L.A. but the liner notes are vague as to location.

I went to a couple railroad museums. Always liked that sort of stuff.
