Christina Applegate looks great. Dead to Me is so good. Really unique. I loved all the plot twists.

Right, Dan? I really liked it. I also thought it was a good portrayal of real women's friendships. There's a line in one of the episodes that I could totally see my BFF saying to me. (It's a raunchy line, so I won't cite it here. :-)

I know the question back in the day was whether you liked Ginger or Maryann.

She really didn’t have a “role”. Everyone else was defined. She never really was. The prof is a very close second

The Professor seems like the only viable choice among the men.

Ginger seemed too high-maintenance even to my childhood self. I like Mary Ann.

I couldn’t figure out, in my young mind, how the professor could keep his shirt clean the whole time. But if you can make a car out of bamboo...

Applying logic to Gilligan's Island is a losing proposition. That way lies madness.

The only strike against the professor was that he could make the car and all the other cool stuff but he couldn’t fix a hole in a boat.

I just Googled the cast ... only Ginger and Maryann are still alive. 83 and 79 years old, respectively. Wow. That makes me feel old.

Wow I just looked it up and realized that Maryanne reminds me of Julia L Dreyfus. I have always liked JLD. That means I’ve had the same taste in women since I was 5!

I just looked up Christina Applegate. People complain about her looks?

Yeah, I overheard two women talking about the show and said, "She looks so old and tired!" I was like, "Wha?!?"

People can be jerks. She looks good but you can't expect her to look the same as she did when she was twenty. Personally, I think she looks better now.
