I agree about the spooky puppets, Blake. Puppets and dolls are no bueno.

The episode I remember is the one where the woman wakes up from surgery and everyone says she's a monster ... but she's the one with the "beautiful" face while everyone around her has snouts. Not sure whether that's Twilight Zone or Outer Limits.

Yeah, it's crazy. I really have had to work hard - offline and with research - to figure out what's going on, but it's worth it.

That series sounds really interesting. Science fiction at it's best can tackle societal issues in interesting ways.

It's also just great character studies, excellent acting ... and this most recent episode (origin story for Hooded Justice) is in all black and white and is beautifully filmed. I've already watched it three times.

Who would think that you'd have to do research to watch television?

I used to have a few comic titles that I read before they ran out. One that I always saw but never read was one called Sandman. Now my goal is to collect the entire graphic novel set. I don’t see any possible way to make it work on a media platform but I’m so hooked

Talking Heads for sure. They formed in the late 70's but they are definitely associated with the 80's.

I liked all the artsy, weird bands because I'm artsy and weird.

Yes! Talking a Heads! The 80’s seems like there were 2 phases- the political stuff which I like and the happy stuff that came out in the second half

Yeah, and then there are the bands/artists who lasted vs. flamed out pretty quickly in the 80s. Not sure Flock of Seagulls had a long run (despite impressive hair).

Yes, a lot of one-hit-wonders during the 80's.

U2 has lasted and remained relevant longer than any band I can think of.
