KTUH is a non-commercial, student-run, listener-supported station in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was Hawaii's first non-commercial FM station, and signed on the air July 7, 1969. Programming originates at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
DJ Look
DJ Look dove into the Honolulu music scene at an early age kicking off her career as a guitarist. Look has covered much ground since - contributing guitar and vocals to ukulele virtuoso, Taimane, and garnering a substantial following of her self-produced radio show entitled, ‘Off the Air.’ Her weekly radio show demonstrates that Look not only has great taste and an impeccable ear but also deep knowledge of seemingly all genres of music. Her radio sets run the gamut from Ramsey Lewis to Kamasi Washington, tUnE-yArDs to Fela Kuti and Funkadelic to BADBADNOTGOOD and seemingly everything in between. The piece de resistance are weekly themes that weave the artists and music together into stories that are both educational and delightful.
