Jimmy Smiles has been part of the KUBU and Access Sacramento family since January 2016. He had the privilege of learning his radio production skills from Shane Carpenter, long time program director at KUBU, who passed away earlier this year. Jimmy’s program, The Smiles Show, features music with a specific theme each week. One week, the theme might feature songs that peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, the next week it might be songs with a color in the title, or songs featuring artists and groups that start with a certain letter of the alphabet. Jimmy enjoys looking for new and elusive themes and encourages you to email jimmysmiles07@gmail.com with your ideas. Jimmy keeps it fresh and interesting and invites you to join him on his musical journey each Wednesday from 2 to 3 PM on 96.5 FM KUBU! Music is a great way to relax and connect, and Jimmy hopes his show inspires lots of “Smiles!”
