Jerianne Van Dijk,is a broadcaster and a past president at KVMR since 1998. She has done years of blues and variety shows with a steep helping of special spotlight/live interviews which include performers such as James Hunter, Jerry Douglas, Robben Ford, David Lindley, Terry Evans, James Cotton, Roy Rogers, Ted Nash, The Decoders, Mavis Staples, Paula Poundstone, Peter yarrow, Eric Bibb, Laura Love, Delhi to Dublin, Charlie Musselwhite even bluesmen Pinetop Perkins and Lazy Lester. Always some fun and surprises, sometimes live in the studio musicians or the Swami Beyondananda often joins her for a chat, with snippets of Dr. Science showing up here and there. No Muiscal jondra is banned here.
New and old music are given equal regard, every week a fresh selection of great music with a vastly wide variety of sounds.. Her out-of-radio experience includes working as an artist/illustrator, muralist, and designer with artwork distributed world wide.
