Kristin first started volunteering at KVMR in 1993, shortly after moving to the area. She took the broadcaster training class in 1995, and has enjoyed bringing a variety of music to her listening audience ever since. Kristin was the Executive Producer of a children's show for 10 years, bringing family-friendly music and stories into countless homes. She now has a World Music show called World Tapestry from 12:00pm until 1:00pm every third Sunday of the month. She hopes her explorations of music from around the globe exemplify the "music of the world" part of KVMR's diverse programming, as well as "educating the ears" of KVMR's listening community to the musical sounds and traditions of other cultures. Kristin is also a member of KVMR's Women's Collective and part of the Women's Show rotation on Monday nights from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. She continues to volunteer at KVMR and support community radio in whatever ways she can.
