Lacey has always loved music. Wait. That's rather generic, isn't it? Loving music is sort of like enjoying sunlight, drinking water, or breathing air, am I right?

Some of Lacey's favorite toys growing up were "horns in a blue suitcase" (this was an awesome set of plastic horns that one could combine together and really play. I'm sure all of the adults in earshot really enjoyed that, too.) Another favorite was "body rap". This was a speaker on a belt with different clip on pads that would each play different beeps, chirps, booms and etc... The idea was that you would wear this contraption and push the pads to make your own "music". (This was the late 80s or early 90s, yo!)

Since aging - Lacey has come a little way in her musical journey. She plays bass guitar and has always been fascinated by radio and how it works.

Lacey loves her time spent at KVSC because she realizes that there is so much great music out there that deserves to be heard other than just top 40s.
