Tucson is still drying out from our first real monsoon storm of the season :-)

This track from "Born in the U.S.A" feels like such an after-the-rain song to me.

Oh no! I can't believe that the moment I chose to reboot my system, you played the Residents! :-( There's an audio glitch that happens about once per minute on Tune-In, and it's been driving me crazy...

Sort of...but more like a momentary freeze. Just a milli-second.

This is a known issue, I think. I'll see what I can find out!

It's such a dense issue, the difference between infringement and sampling, especially in early hip hop. Oh, and this Sault album really hits deep.

Yes, I was thinking about that earlier, regarding He's So Fine: that if that were to happen today, it wouldn't be as big a deal.

This might be important re: the audio glitch. I'm not hearing it during your breaks, and I'm listening to the background music pretty closely to see if it's there, and I can't hear it. But that doesn't make any sense, does it?

And when I think about it, I'm not sure that it wasn't happening during The Home Stretch and The Wire Service last night. Maybe even Bridgitte's Afternoon Mix, too?
