First time visitor. I love your selections. Saw the Dead Kennedys in San Jose in 1980. Jello smeared himself with mayonnaise and of course hurled himself into the crowd. :-)

Devo was another act worth seeing live. Saw them at the Warfield in San Francisco in 1979 on the Duty Now for the Future tour. What struck me at the time was that they NEVER engaged with the audience.

Awesome you got to see them then. I caught them at the Rialto years ago. Had my fingers on an energy dome they tossed down from stage.

They were incredible.

They changed so much with Midge Ure. Not a bad thing, and they were more popular, but it was noticeably different.

For sure. I enjoy John Foxx's early solo stuff.

Embarrassed to say I've never listened to Au Pairs. Can sorta see the (unfair) comparisons with GofF, only because of the rhythm section. But other than that, no way.

Lazy comparison, no doubt.
