In a nutshell, I had a show at another radio station in Cambria, CA in the mid-80's. THere was a friend I collaborated with and the colab was called the Pre-Apocalypse Warm-Up Show. In the mid-90's when those of us doing the music mix were asked to name our shows, that was what I cam up with. There seemd to be a general hello bentedness on using up everything the planet had to offer and I wanted to occupy a niche that provided a musical respite from the hurly burly of the modern world.
