10:04 PM		Dry Cleaning Unsmart Lady N New Long Leg 4AD 2021 Debut LP from this English post-punk band. Along with fronting Dry Cleaning, vocalist Florence Shaw is a university lecturer, whose lyrics are spoken word writing exercises. The lyrics to this cut are about accepting your body as is.

10:30 PM		Mogwai Midnight Flit N As the Love Continues Rock Action Records 2021 Latest release from the Scottish post-rock instrumentalists. Critics noted Mogwai mostly dispensed with long-drawn out pieces in favor of quicker bursts of releases. I dunno, that is what I read!
10:36 PM		A Place to Bury Strangers Playing the Part N Hologram - EP Dedstrange 2021 NYC noise rock band originally scheduled to play in Tucson at 1919 Toole this month. Show has been rescheduled for May 16th! Likely dropping a new full-length release this month!
10:38 PM		Shellac Ghosts 1000 Hurts Touch and Go Records 2000 Third studio LP from the powerhouse trio of Steve Albini, Todd Trainer, and Bob Weston (NOT of Fleetwood Mac fame). The lyrics are a random story Steve Albini wrote about a girl that can will ghosts into existence with her mind.

10:49 PM		Napalm Death APEX PREDATOR - EASY MEAT APEX PREDATOR - EASY MEAT Trooper Entertainment 2015 15th studio LP from the English grindcore legends. Vocalist Barney Greenway cited Michael Gira of Swans and John Lydon of PiL as vocal influences when recording this album.

11:09 PM		Prong Freezer Burn Force Fed Spigot 1989 Debut LP from this NYC-based crossover thrash band. A later re-issue contains a cover of Chrome's "Third from the Sun".
11:12 PM		Pink City Virgins Virgins Pink City 2013 Trans-continental collaboration between two musicians, one from the US Mid-west and the other from the UK. Album was recorded via exchange of instrumental and vocal files recorded individually.
11:14 PM		Pig Eyes Warlord Pig Eyes Mourningwood Recordings 2014 Second studio LP from this Swedish band. Two drummers in the band, back when that was the cool thing to do.
11:22 PM		Flood Twin If You Were Jesus N Flood Twin Flood Twin 2021 Debut LP from this Atlanta-based post-punk trio. My sleeper record of 2021. Highly recommended!

11:36 PM		Iggy & The Stooges I Got a Right Jesus Loves The Stooges Cleopatra Records 2010 Recorded by The Stooges following their release from Elektra Records following 1970's Fun House LP, with lyrics an affirmation by Iggy Pop that he's still got a lot left in the creative tank.

11:47 PM		The Pagans I Don't Understand Shit Street Crypt 2001 Late 70s Cleveland punk band that saw minor recognition within punk circles with the single "What's This Shit Called Love?". Just can't play it on the radio. Or other Pagan tunes for that matter.
