10:33 PM		Ceremony We Can Be Free In the Spirit World Now Relapse Records 2019 Ceremony started as a hardcore punk band before shifting to post-punk sonic territory. Ceremony will be playing at Club Congress on Saturday, April 23rd!
10:35 PM		Adolescents Welcome to Reality Adolescents Frontier 1981 "Welcome to Reality" is not a cut from the original 1981 debut LP from this Southern California punk band but rather a bonus track to a much later CD re-release.
10:37 PM		Flipper Life Is Cheap Generic Public Flipper Limited LLC 1981 Influential sludge punk from San Francisco. Founding member Ricky Williams was in the band for a hot second before being booted but would go on to be part of other notable San Fran acts such as CRIME, Toiling Midgets, and The Sleepers.

11:08 PM		Mission of Burma Blunder The Sound the Speed the Light Matador 2009 Mission of Burma released an acclaimed EP, LP, and live album in the early 80s before disbanding due to a band member's issue with tinnitus. Decades later, the band reunited for what was supposed to be a one-off series of shows. That ended being a multi-LP stretch with the band having never lost a step despite the long hiatus.

This is the second of three singles released from this album. According to Andrew Falkous, the lyrics are about “a guy who didn’t like to have successful relationships because they felt that it would comprise their art in someway… it’s like a threat, don’t go out with her – she will only bring you happiness.”

Ooh, that does sound delightful. My go-to is a fried egg, over easy, with a piece of buttered toast and some pan fried green onions on the side. Other way to eat it is on top of rice with some stir-fried whatever I have in the fridge.

My ideal sandwich: Toasted whole wheat bread that you buy at the store, spread with whole grain mustard and mayo. Then, lettuce, thin slices of white or yellow onion, thick slices of ham, cheddar cheese, avocado with salt and pepper, and then the other toast also with mayo and mustard, heavy on the mustard.
