Craving an energy drink
Bama Dan 10:03:15 PM
Mmmmmmmm...
Julio P. (host) 10:03:19 PM
Ahhhh, that hit the spot
Richie Cortez 10:08:11 PM
So what’s on deck? Trying to figure out the theme
Julio P. (host) 10:08:37 PM
Hi Richie. No theme tonight. Just a freewheelin' set!
Ed in Seattle 10:09:47 PM
HEH is my favorite way to end a Thursday! Thanks Julio.
Bama Dan 10:09:53 PM
Amber Bollinger is a high jump champion?!?
Richie Cortez 10:10:01 PM
Well alright. Sounds good
Julio P. (host) 10:10:31 PM
Hola Ed. Glad to have your ears.
Bama Dan 10:10:35 PM
Former, I mean...
Julio P. (host) 10:10:52 PM
Dan: Yup, and an indie actress. Her vocals remind me of Karen O
Bama Dan 10:11:03 PM
TOTALLY
Richie Cortez 10:11:33 PM
(Small side chat)Anyone at the King Gizzard show last night?
Julio P. (host) 10:12:11 PM
Forgot that was last night. Which is embarrassing since I read promos about it. How was the show?
Richie Cortez 10:13:48 PM
Didn’t catch it haha. Had to decide between them and Brian Jonestown Massacre.
Julio P. (host) 10:13:58 PM
ooo yeah tough choice
Bama Dan 10:14:30 PM
Can't get over how many great shows have been in Tucson as of late...
Julio P. (host) 10:14:59 PM
Excited about catching some finally
Bama Dan 10:17:44 PM
So get this, Julio: my brother, the skatepunk who is into The Dicks and Big Boys, takes me aside a couple of weeks ago and tells me about this new band he's heard..." 'Amy' and The Sniffers", and he's way into them. How cool is that?!?
Julio P. (host) 10:18:15 PM
hahaha that is awesome. Were you all "yeah, I already know about em?"
Bama Dan 10:19:01 PM
Haha, pretty much. And I did say "Amyl", lol But I thought it was awesome.
Bama Dan 10:19:41 PM
It's just so rare that he gets into new music.
Julio P. (host) 10:24:19 PM
Great band to get into if he's not into new music
Leslie Schmidt 10:27:37 PM
Hello Julio
Julio P. (host) 10:27:44 PM
Hi Leslie!
Leslie Schmidt 10:31:48 PM
Great show! Love that last band. Thanks for turning me on to new music. You're the best!
Julio P. (host) 10:32:38 PM
Thanks as always for listening! Lots new stuff on the way in the 11th hour.
Bama Dan 10:36:01 PM
With the Isotope Soap cut you played, I definitely hear Jon Foxx-era Ultravox in their sound as well. But I know it's all subjective. 😬
Julio P. (host) 10:36:39 PM
oooo I'll have to listen for that
Bama Dan 10:38:54 PM
Where are VR SEX out of...?
Julio P. (host) 10:39:12 PM
Los Angeles, I believe
Bama Dan 10:58:59 PM
I definitely want to see Automatic whenever they are playing. Jamie J played one of their new tunes several weeks ago and I thought you did too a few weeks ago?
Bama Dan 10:59:15 PM
I dig what I've heard.
Julio P. (host) 10:59:35 PM
I did! Played the lead single weeks ago. They're underrated, I feel
Bama Dan 10:59:49 PM
*Jaime J*
Bama Dan 11:00:51 PM
Yeah I really love their sound.
Bama Dan 11:05:49 PM
This is all well and good, but do you know the complete truth about de-evolution?
Julio P. (host) 11:06:33 PM
:D
Bama Dan 11:06:44 PM
😆
Leslie Schmidt 11:11:07 PM
Yes! I love this new Killing Joke!
Julio P. (host) 11:11:22 PM
I missed Geordie Walkers guitar tone
Bama Dan 11:16:38 PM
I can definitely see that, but I'm still glad they are putting out new music.
Leslie Schmidt 11:16:52 PM
Julio, did you go to the Ministry concert?
Bama Dan 11:17:10 PM
Btw, we're on a 3 minute delay here on the internet...
Julio P. (host) 11:17:27 PM
Leslie: there was a Ministry concert?
Julio P. (host) 11:17:54 PM
Dan, knew there is a delay, didn't realize it is tres minutos
Bama Dan 11:18:15 PM
Jello!!! But is he "larded" with mayo...?
Leslie Schmidt 11:18:19 PM
Yes, last week, the 12th, in Phoenix
Julio P. (host) 11:18:31 PM
Leslie: did not know that
Julio P. (host) 11:18:37 PM
Dan: classic story
Bama Dan 11:20:24 PM
Yep. It's been 40 years now since I've seen the DKs.
Bama Dan 11:23:36 PM
I think "Manteca" sounds better than "Lard"...

Julio P. (host) 11:32:34 PM
Another great album from this year. Makes my heart and mind melt
Bama Dan 11:34:09 PM
I'm in agreement with Leslie: Young Prisms and Health. I love both of the cuts you've played.
Julio P. (host) 11:34:39 PM
